Jungle luff

Guva couldn't help but let out a content purr as he felt those gentle fingers running over his tail- the tip twitching back and forth playfully. He pulled his legs up and watched Kuri as the other used his legs to gently push the hammock back and forth. "I am... I guess. I'm not or wasn't that good a hunter and got left behind. And all the men where away the elder had to send me out to patrol.. he wasn't happy about that." He mumbled softly, sighing as he leaned back and against Kuri, eyes closed... purring softly.

Kuri chuckled softly "well..there are certain people in tribes that are special. Maybe you're one of them" He said looking up at Guva before be reached to run his fingers down Guva's ear scratching the back of it softly, before he pulled Guva down to lay beside him "rest now"

Guva's ears pressed back contently on his head as he snuggled closer to Kuri, his tail curling around his hurt ankle. He started to purr softly as he drifted off- the first time he's actually slept after coming here a day ago. He didn't move as Kuri pulled the blanket up around them both, using Kuri's chest as a pillow.

The next morning Kuri woke early, before the sun, sneaking off to hunt for a few fish for himself as well as Guva making sure to stay quiet and discrete, ears perched high on his head to listen out for Sodry. Once he returned to his hut he cooked the fish quickly on a small fire. He moved over to Guva and nuzzled his cheek softly letting out a murr "wake up Guva" he said quietly

Guva let out a soft, lazy purr as he shifted some and stretched out like a cat would, yawning. He opened his eyes and stared up at Kuri with a smile, nuzzling him back. "Good morning, Brother.." He mumbled softly and sat up, whimpering softly as he looked down at his belly, it growling loudly- he then looked out the window, the sun yet up. "...Brother, The sun isn't up yet." He muttered, idly licking the back of his hand and running it over his ear- grooming.

Kuri chuckled softly "I know, but i want you to have something to eat"he said cupping Guva's cheek thumb running over the soft skin. [/i]"i've got some roasted fish, hurry and eat"[i] he said hearing a bit of shifting from Sodry's hut, indicating the other was beginning to stirr.

Guva pressed his face into that hand before limping next to the fire and picking up one of the roasted fish and started to chew into it, actually figuring out how hungry he really was. He began eatting faster until there was nothing but bones left. He sat back and let out a content sigh then lifted his arm up and started to lick it- going back to grooming himself... before he looked over at Kuri's ears and blinked. "Brother- do you ever groom?" He chuckled and moved up, licking at the other's fluffy ears and hair, his cat like tongue combing Kuri.

Kuri chuckled softly "once in a while i do" he said purring softly feeling Guva grooming him, his head leaning into that tongue. though his ears perked high and he quickly moved away from Guva kicking the bones into the fire and quickly pushing Guva into the corner of the hut, just as Sodry opened the door. "Kuri, bring him outside..." his eyes caught the fish then looked from Kuri to Guva. "did you give him something to eat?" he questioned. "no..those are mine" Kuri said before he lead Kuri out of the hut, following after Sodry out to the back. Kuri could have gasped, Sodry had started a fire, a long iron rod sitting in it turning red from the heat. "Sodry...you're going to..." Sodry smirked "That's right, brand him, he is mine after all" he said looking right into Guva's eyes.

Guva paniced some as he was held by Kuri- trying to climb out of the others grasp. "B-brother..." He whispered softly. It wasn't like he was clueless to the smell or the site of the burning iron- he had be branded before... though this brand was a lot more painful, having been a flimsy strip of iron which burned into his cheek and was twisted around his arm... a coming of age he couldn't pass. He glared daggers at Sodry and hissed. "I'm not yours! Brother- tell him that in his tongue, Tell him that I don't belong to him.." He muttered, tugging on Kuri's shirt, ears back and tail drooped. "I don't want to be burned again..."

Kuri frowned as he held onto Guva arms around the others waist "im...sorry Guva...but i can't" he whispered softly watching as Sodry pulled the hot iron from the flames, holding it right above Guva's tail off to the side slightly. Just as he was about to press it against Guva's flesh Kuri jerked away the hot iron burning into the ground. Sodry growled pulling Guva away from Kuri, his large knife in his other hand as he harshly swiped it, the blade making a clean cut, severing half of Guva's tail, the piece left wasn't exactly a bob, but a half. He held the cut piece in his hand "Never..forget who you belong to" he growled before he stormed away.

The shock of pain shooting up his spine made Guva double over in pain, he didn't know he fell into Kuri's arms, or that he vomited up due to the pain. His lower half went numb- legs weak and shaking as what was left of his tail bled onto the ground behind him. He pressed his face into Kuri's chest, drool running down the side of his mouth before eyes clouded over- passed out now.

Kuri cursed quickly scooping up Guva and rushing into his hut, quickly he wrapped the bleeding end in gauze and binding tape, stopping the bleeding for the moment, He moved to pullout a container from one of the shelves, inside it a needle, it was a pain reducer he had brought from the city in case one of them were to get hurt. He slid the needle into Guva's arm, pulling it out and setting it aside before he laid Guva on the hammock, sitting on the floor beside it as he rocked it back and forth. He knew this pain all to well, he was just glad Guva didn't have to suffer the pain of loosing nearly all of the tail like he did.

About a few hours later Guva opened his eyes, shifted some and hissing out softly from the dull ache that traveled up his spine. He felt something on him and looked down... Kuri had fallen asleep next to him, the other's arms rested over him protectively. "...." He hand shakily moved to rest on Kuri's head, thumb running over one of the tame neko's ears. "Brother...?" He whispered softly, running that back of his claws over the other's cheek. "You'll catch a cold if you sleep like that..."

Kuri shifted away, soft green eyes opening slowly. "hnn..Guva?", he suddenly shot up ears perched high on his head and slightly puffed. He looked at Guva before moving to wrap his arms around him in a tight hug his nose running over the side of Guva's cheek a sign of concern. "are you ok?..im so sorry this happened"he whispered softly pulling Guva flush against him, he didn't want this for Guva, and he damn sure didn't want Sodry's mark on him. Guva was special to him, he pulled back only slightly lips just barely grazing against the soft skin on Guva's cheek.

Guva's ears pressed back on his head as he let out a soft mewl, wrapping his arms around Kuri's neck and nuzzling him back. "B-brother... It.. its ok... " He whispered, pulling back to stare at Kuri before gently moving to press his nose on the others. "Lets run away... He doesn't own us.. we're not some pet to be kept." He knew Kuri would never agree to running away- or Sodry wouldn't let them get far... all he knew is that he wanted to bite down on Sodry's throat and pull back as hard as he could. Guva pulled back and moved to press his fingers to Kuri's lips. "Or... does he have an invisable collar around your throat?"

Kuri frowned ears lowering some. "there isn't anything holding me back...but Soddy would surely find us as quickly as we run"He said before he let out a soft sigh, running would prove both their lives would be safe, on the other hand Sodry knew this forest and area like he was a native himself. "if we do run...we'd have to set up traps and think hard, Sodry isn't stupid." he moved to pull Guva in his lap careful of Guva's injured foot. He moved to press his lips against Guva's chin. "when you've healed..we'll try"

Gold eyes blinked slightly as the hammock shifted when he was pulled so gently into Kuri's lap. "Brother..?" He whispered softly before feeling that kiss to his chin- he moved back then down, pressing his nose to the spot on Kuri's throat- a silly attempt to make himself domicile over Kuri... though he knew it wouldn't work. He started to purr softly, rubbing his nose into that spot with his ears back.

Kuri chuckled softly at Guva's attempts, a deep purr rumbling in his chest, letting Guva have his moment of dominance before he shifted, his own nose pressing into Guva's neck running along it letting out a soft murr inhaling Guva's strong scent of nature, his bobbed tail twitched lightly, ears back, as his hands moved to softly grasp Guva's shoulders, lightly bristled tongue running over Guva's neck.

Guva shifted some and rested his chin on Kuri's head, his own tongue moving out to groom one of those ears lazily- Sodry tried to hard and did things to wrong- if you wanted to dominate you had to do a little grooming first to get the other neko comfortable. He purred louder as he felt Kuri licking his throat then moved down slightly, hands moving to hold Kuri's face as he ran his tongue over the others eyebrows then forehead. If you wanted a neko to be your mate you had to constantly groom them, sleep with them, mark them, hunt and eat with them- all around just be with them for a few weeks and fight off any opposing males or females.

Kuri let out a content purr, eyes closing softly as he felt that tongue over his face, he shifted down some tongue lapping at Guva's shoulders and collarbone. he gently laid Guva down, a hand lifting Guva's own to his lips, tongue licking each finger. Kuri moved then to lick Guva's own ears, nibbling the tips of them as he purred softly pulling away and looking into those golden eyes "...Guva, i wish to court you" he whispered

Guva blinked some, the hammock swaying back and forth gently as he stared up at Kuri- If Kuri courted him that ment that Sodry couldn't touch him. He purred softly and moved to nibble on Kuri's cheek softly. "I'll accept your courting, Brother.." He purred softly and moved to hold Kuri's hand.

Kuri blinked surprised Guva accepted him he smiled softly leaning and kissing a spot on Guva's neck lower then the spot above. His hands moved to cup Guva's cheeks before he placed a soft kiss to his lips, he shifted back some fingers slowly running up Guva's sides, ghosting over the rosy bud on his chest

Guva grunted softly as he felt those hands running down his side, a soft purr escaping him as he watched Kuri's expression- the other seemed like a kitten who just received a candy or something. He moved to touch Kuri's cheek softly and pulled him down, nuzzling him back before licking his chin with a louder purr.

Kuri purred contently eyes closed as he groomed Guva for a few more moments before he began to nip at his skin softly, signs of claim. lips trailing over the frail skin licking at Guva's hip bone before kissing down against his inner thigh

Guva shifted some, purring as he watched Kuri kissing down his body- His tail twitch, making him let out a soft whimper. "Hn.. Brother.." He bent his legs up at the knee and spread them, his flaccid cock twitching slightly, waking up from those soft nips and licks the other gave him.
